A fortunate happenstance of insight and chance twitches in the corner of the eye, deep down the unexpected path into the future becomes visible.
Serendipia is an immersive multimedia installation by multidisciplinary artists Kathryn Cowen and Gareth Jenkins. Combining animation, sound, sculpture, electronics and ultraviolet light, the artists have created a bio-futuristic environment that reflects nature’s ever-changing desire for adaptation and experimentation.
Under the unearthly ultraviolet glow, visitors are invited to step into this otherworld of discovery where chance encounters with speculative propositions for hybrid life provide an invitation to consider the future of nature.
